Discover the engineering behind go-karting at our Mechanic's Club. Perfect for ages 8 and up, these hands-on sessions let you explore engine mechanics, kart setup, and racing technology. Whether you're a complete beginner or an aspiring engineer, our expert instructors will guide you through everything from basic maintenance to full engine builds.
New Mechanics Syllabus
£110 for 4 sessions – Starting Wednesday 14th January & Saturday 17th January at 11am and 1pm, then running fortnightly. Bookings are first come, first served.
Course breakdown:
- Running gear of chassis – Safety checks and replacement of tyres, wheel bearings, steering components, axles, drive belts and pulleys
- Servicing engine, brakes and fuel system – Full engine service including oil changes, air filter, spark plug, carburettor cleaning, brake system maintenance and fuel filter service
- Engine overhaul – Complete engine strip down, component inspection and rebuild
- Full kart setup for testing – Tyre pressure, wheelbase measurement, laser wheel alignment and test driving to check handling
Regular Drop-In Sessions
Run fortnightly from 11am to 12pm, with special group options available for families, schools and home educators.
SEN Sessions
Available Wednesdays only from 11am to 12pm, with a taster kart session afterwards. These sessions also run fortnightly.
